Grnd CH Tartanwyn Sky’s Lapis Lazuli; Grnd CH Tartanwyn Closer Walk With Me–for earning their Grnd CH titles this year. CH Tartanwyn Dazzlin Solitaire ; CH Tartanwyn Hear My Thunder & CH Tartanwyn Roy’l Blu Dalton on earning their CH title shown exclusively from the Bred By Exhibitor class.
Lots of news to catch up on. Ch Tartanwyn Roy’l Blu Dalton completed his obedience title Companion Dog in just 3 shows at the Amana Cluster in Sept. 2011.
CH Tartanwyn’s Dazzlin Solitaire; CH Tartanwyn Sky’s Indigo Bunting; Grnd CH Tartanwyn Sky’s Lapis Lazuli were certified Instinct Tested on Sheep at the Amana show.

On Saturday-Ch. Tartanwyn Sky’s Lapis Lazuli owned and shown by Melanie Harkness to Best Of Breed over Specials. Then takes Group 3 in the Herding group. Ch Tartanwyn Closer Walk With Me owned and shown by me took Best Of Opposite to Zuli. On Sunday- Zuli took BOB again over Specials and Patsy Cline took BOS.

I was praying hard before I left home this weekend. Just 1 win away from finishing my male Thor and my female Solitaire.
On Saturday (CH-pending AKC approval) Tartanwyn’s Dazzlin’ Solitaire ~ Taira took WB/BOW/and Best Bred By Exhibitor to go over the male for a 3rd major win and to finish her!!!! AMEN. For those of you who know her…I had pulled her from showing after she broke her rear left foot on the down slope of the A-Frame in agility with her toe catching a cleat. After finishing a daughter from her first litter….decided to get her back out there as she is still moving like a dream and structurally sound. What a showgirl she is! She has a second litter out there now with a few in the ring and they are doing quite well already too. HAPPY DAY!! Taira showed exclusively from the Bred By Exhibitor rings.
On Sunday~ (CH-pending AKC approval) Tartanwyn Hear My Thunder- took WD for his last needed major to finish his Ch Title. He makes the 4th Champion (all blue males) accomplished off his Dam- CH Glasdawn’s Sky Rocket (look to See her page). His brother Zuli is a Mulitple Group placer. They are of a 5 generation (All Champion) pedigree. He & I were definetly HAPPY today.
Tartanwyn Theodore Arturo took RWD on Friday. Tartanwyn’s Dazzlin Solitaire took RWB and Best Bred By Exhib on Saturday. Tartanwyn’s Dazzlin Solitaire took WB and Best of Winners for 1 more point on Sunday. She has both majors and now has 13 pts.
Burlington shows were HOT. Humidity was unbearable.
Sundays shows were wonderful as I watched Kerri Carter put a 4 pt Major on her male puppy Mikey out of my Solitaire bred to Raymond. He will be 8 months old on 8/16 and already has both majors and a total of 9 pts. YEAH!!! Big Congrats! I then Watched Teresa Kannard take WB with Fiona her female out of my Solitaire bred to Raymond’s first litter. She then went over her younger brother Mikey to take BOW and her first major win for 4 pts. Way to go! Mommie Solitaire in the ring with me was feeling her oats this weekend and let her kids show her up…she took Reserve Winners to her Daughter.
Went to the DeKalb IL. Dog shows both days. Showed Tally in Bred By Exhibitor class. Melanie showed Zuli in Best Of Breed ring against another Blue male. Tally took WB/BOW/BOS so Zuli could earn a point towards his Grand Champion title.
Kishwaukee KC shows in Belvidere IL proved to be worth the heat.

Tartanwyn Dazzlin’ Solitaire ~ Taira- owned and shown by me (she’s Mikey’s mom) took WB/BOW for a 3 PT Mjr – her 2nd mjr . She only needs 3 pts now. Tartanwyn Theodore Arturo ~ Teddy (7mo) took RWD to his brother Mikey- handled by Melanie Harkness. CH Tartanwyn Sky’s Lapis Lazuli ~ Zuli took BOB and a 5 PT mjr towards his Grnd Ch title. Owned and handled by Melanie Harkness.
